Best NL Non-roster Invites

The Braves have one of my favorite players in the league invited to camp this year. Carl Freakin Edwards Jr. Sucks he isn't wearing #6 anymore but #56 will have to do I suppose. Jason Kipnis and Pablo Sandoval are kind of fun, but now Carl Edwards Jr. Marlins added to the stallions this year with getting the crafty vet, Gio Gonzalez. I personally can not wait for his 4.50 ERA in Miami. Mets have a plethora of fun names brought in. On the pitching side they have Jered Eickoff and Mike Montgomery. Thankfully Bruce Maxwell is back in the league (kind of) and not blackballed for kneeling. Mallex Smith is an adventure no matter where he is, can't field, can't hit, but at least he is fast. Phillies had an all time bad bullpen in 2020, so naturally the focus of the offseason is there. They brought in Neftali Feliz, Brandon Kintzler, Hector Rondon, Ivan Nova, and Tony Watson. There could be 15 saves in the list. Yasmany Tomas is a National. I repeat. YASMANY TOMAS IS A NATIONAL

Cubs bringing the most Cubs guy ever with Shelby Miller and Rex Brothers. Completely boring and forgettable. I do not know why the Reds are concerned about SS in 2021. They have Dee Strange-Gordon as a non-roster. Problem solved. Lehigh Valley Iron Pig legend, Dylan Cozens is in Milwaukee. If given the chance the big boy can definitely hit Bernie the Brewers at the top of the slide. GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE. The Pirates let me down again and have absolutely nothing fun in their non-roster invites. Todd Frazier is as close as it gets. (Shhhhh Brian Goodwin is there and is sneaky good and will get some playing time in the OF). Cardinals also have nothing of note but I am sure one of these players will make a huge impact in playoff baseball because that's the Cardinal way.

Dodger great Trayce Thompon is in camp with Arizona this year, along with Chris Devenksi. Devenski is definitely going to be taking that Archie Bradley fireman role this year. Colorado may be the worst run team in all of baseball but they know how to have some fun with non-roster invites. CJ Cron is going to hit 30 dingers if given the chance in Coors. Some are still believing in Greg Bird. Those people are Yankee fans and they are wrong. Derrick Gonzalez (Pudge's son) couldn't not give up homers in San Fran, I am sure it will go better in Coors....World Series Champs Dodgers (killed me to write that) are bringing in more arms to supplement what they already have. Brandon Morrow and Jimmy Nelson lead the way here. In 2019 Nick Burdi had a horrific injury on the mound. Now he is trying to get back with Slam Diego. Lastly San Francisco has nothing to get me excited except for Tyler Cyr, and that's just because I want to hear how to pronounce his name.

The best part of spring every year is seeing that former all star or top prospect from 7 years ago that been on his 5th team in 4 years, all with the same goal: Making it to the big leagues again. Her
